"OMGosh!...It's so Relaxing and Peaceful!'...
...I Love this Land!...
..with its
..many faces!...
But...today... it's a perfect and
sort-of-warm day
by the River...and I Love It!"
"It's too bad that there's a Revolutionary War about!"
Doctor Satchel Marambo, an Early
Dental Practitioner, who apprenticed in England and France,
has really taken to the 'Naturalness'
in the rural
parts near Virginia's
Atlantic coast.
Doctor Marambo doesn't want to
fight in the war, being a Pacifist and
a Goodwill Dentist and all...
Now he thinks to himself,
"I think I'll mosie on
back to the office..."
And as he is about to go inside the
place that he and some Friends built,
Dr. Marambo, sees a
soldier walking
around these Parts?"
And Dr. Marambo, chuckles back,
"Hi there, Young Man!...
...Yes!...I'm a Dentist around this here part!"
Now the soldier smiles and says,
"I heard that you were here, and my mouth hurts,
so I'm here so
that maybe
you can
help me out!"
"Sure!...Let's go inside and
see what's going on!"
As the Soldier
slowly and cautiously looks and walks into the office,
the Doctor says,
"Have a seat in the chair by the window
so I can use that good daylight!
Quickly diagnosing the Soldier's
mouth problem, Marambo gives a strong
Rum/Whiskey mix to drink for some
needed 'anesthesia.'
After the procedure,
they walk outside and the
slightly inebriated Soldier says thanks, with a
little sangre still in the mouth.
And after they talk a bit,
another soldier approaches the two
and then,
some
other men come
from
opposite sides
of the clearing in front of the Dentist's Office,
and they also
ask about getting dental relief...ASAP!
"I have the time to see all of you fine young men today,"
smiles Doctor Marambo...
Then, as an aside, he continues,
"What do you gentlemen plan
on doing after the War is over?"
One says, "I want to be
a Distiller and make the World's best Rum! I'ma call it 'Black's Rum!'"
Another blurts out, "I want to be a baker of
bread, pies and cakes!"
The patient who was just treated chimes in,
"I'm going to be a farmer and
raise the sweetest corn and the fastest horses!"
Now, another soldier comes out of the woods
and walks up to them and says,
"I hear you guys talking
about your futures after the War!...We all
may not be on the same side,
but there are common themes
that connect us...When my men and I get back
to our Country after this all settles,
we are going to strengthen our families and
our Country, and put the Colonizers on Notice!...Just like
this United States is doing!"
"From the way I see you handling
your business, Sir, I am now
thinking about
being a Dentist, just like you!"
Now they all let out some big laughs
and then
wait patiently
to be treated by The Doctor,
Then,
as they all are about to head back
to their respective sides, some of them say that
if they see each other in battle,
they are going to intentionally miss shooting one another,
so they can
have chances at Life after the War!
But...Wait!...Suddenly...
...a rustling is heard in the bushes,
and the soldiers quickly
aim their rifles to the noise...but...
...it's only a foraging Deer!...Whew!...
And then,
also at that moment,
from the opposite side the clearing,
two of Doctor Marambo's
'Teeth Harvesters,'
who collect the teeth
from deceased soldiers
in the fields and war zones after the battles die down,
walk up to the Doctor
and say, "Doctor Marambo, we have these
pouches full of teeth bones for you,
and many of them
that are separated into sets
are
in really good shape!"
"Why thank you, you guys," gushes Marambo, "now I can
make some more 'Good-looking Falsies!'"
And as the soldiers are leaving, the Dr. says,
"All of you remember to
clean around your teeth and gumline
with a short twig to get that old food off...and rinse a lot...
...and...
see me in...6 months!"
