Hi there!...I am a duly Licensed and Practicing Dentist
in the Real World...
...And this is an amazing time to be alive!
'Dipping my toes'
in the 'Technological Ocean,'...
...I am going to
'break free'
and...
do Dentistry...
...in the
Metaverse!
I'm planning to have a nice
Dental Office, with a fish
tank and all. and I will offer the latest
and best treatments to
my Patients!
Hopefully, I will have a
thriving practice and
will be known throughout the Metaverse!
Now, I know that the Metaverse is still in its infancy,
and things need to be worked out so that there
won't be...many different smaller Metaverses,
but
'One Big One'
to
'connect Everything!'
Today, I am going to get started
in Dentistry by beta-testing
my voyage using the 'EuroMerica' Metaverse Platform...
So,
for an Immersive Experience,
I am donning my
VR Goggles now...and...wallah!
...I'm now my own Avatar!
"Let's get this Show...
...on the Road!
In prepping for this milestone adventure,
I have some questions like,
will we have regular digital sunrises
and
sunsets, and
will I sleep for 7 hours
and will there still be COVID,
and can anyone be a Dentist,
and will I get paid in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies?
So, the first thing I will do is
walk to my office, which is
just a couple of blocks away,
although
I can use other means of travel
in this
'Magical World!'
But, before I start my Journey,
I think back to some early
Digital Games!...
...And even some of the
newer
ones!...
Now,
I still have to
wrap my head around the fact that
I can
do all of my activities in the Metaverse...while...
...safely on my couch at home!
I sorta like the fact that Users
can share these many
digital experiences, many of them happy
and
reaffirming, while
other versions maybe 'unexpected'
and even
frightening!
I'm wearing some
Haptic Feedback gear, which has
technologically
...Come a long Way!
In Reality, I'll have on
Haptic Armor
But I'll appear as VR Cool!"
...And control the Narrative
in Real Time!
"Okay!...On with the gear!...
...And Here...
...We Go!...
Now,
I punch in some Parameters,
on the screens,
along with some
Default Settings...
And Next...
"Oh Wow!
This is...
'Illuminating!'
"Wait!...What's...
happening around me!
Surprised again, I now
am approaching
My Destination!
And while on my way,
I see to the side
something that could only happen in the MV.
And on the other side,
things look as bad as in
'Real Reality!'
Now...OMGosh...
further down the street.
I come upon something
that needs handling...
Quickly and Discreetly!
And this Viewer from the side says...
"OMGosh!...Who is...
...That Man!"
Then...suddenly, I find myself
walking in the rain with
an Umbrella!
Then... moving
right along...
...Out of Nowhere...
I encounter
...a Mob!...And I
get Tased!...
But Wait!...Now I appear in another Reality...
...detached from the first!...
...and ask myself,
"Who did that?"?"
Then,
a woman appears
and says,
"If you don't want to walk
like them
You must go through
That Door...
Then...another Input from the Metaverse Ether chimes in,
"Sir...You must change your Narrative, and
get back to who
You really are!... And You have The Key...Now open the Door!
So now,
I go down some hallways
in the Dental
Office
Building.
And a door comes up to me(?)...and...
...Now, I
put the
key in the door, and unlock it...
And...when I walk into
what I think is
the Waiting Room...
...quite to my surprise...
...Is a Real...Unmentionable!"
Taking off my goggles,
I say, "I gotta take...
...a Break!"
But you can bet
that
after a little while...
I will Log
Back In!...
...And see what happens
...next...
...in my...
...Metaverse Dental Office!
