The first person to
scientifically elucidate
the Winge's Peak (WP),
an upper lip midline mark,
believes that this
landmark has more significance than just
being an anatomical entity that most people don't have.
In Egypt, with so many funerary masks
of King Tutankhamun and others living at that time,
and masks made in other
African places, an inevitable question arises:
Does the Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt,
which is said to have a female face,
and which was called "Horus of the Horizon,"
have a Winge's Peak, or,
"elatus labialis wingeulus"
like the Pharaohs
had at that time?
Since the face was too desecrated, we'll never know!
Dr. Ralph Winge, a graduate of USC Dental School,
and describer of the WP, believes that "all humans that have evidence
of the genetically-dominant elatus labialis wingeulus trait on their upper lips are considered to
have 'potentiated functional capacities' to 'be, think, and act,' and are
said to be direct descendents of the newly-proposed, very-physically-similar-to-homo-sapien,
African prehistoric humanoid species he calls 'homo wingeulus.'"

Elatus labialis wingeulus, a genetically-dominant physical trait, is an 'appendage' over the
upper lip's middle tubercle frontal surface, and is a naturally-occurring, variably-manifested,
vertically-oriented, differentiated soft tissue, epithelial-emanating fold or ridge or
line or prominence, or otherwise, with subepithelial components (Winge's Peak
Connective Tissue Complex), which coincides with the midline of the face
and the interincisal and mid-sagittal lines, and runs down the middle of the
middle tubercle surface of the rostral upper lip, which may extend inferiorly
from the middle of the Vermillion Border's Cupid's Bow, down to the lower
edge of the lip, with or without significant elevation above the surrounding
lateral labial tissues, with or without the presence of differentiated vermillion
surface epithelium (Winge Epithelium) seen along the linear crest of the Peak,
and with or without the presence of an inferiorly-positioned procheilon.
